Fantasy Sports

A collection of real players that play for an assortment of real professional teams that have been assembled to become one unit and accumulate more/better statistics collectively, than one's opponent.

Typically in fantasy football the format applies to a weekly match-up total against ones opponent translating to wins and losses. Much like in real life, the W-L record determines playoff births and ultimately Championships. There are other instances where fantasy football can be set up in the same fashion as baseball's rotisserie which is explained below.

Fantasy Baseball on the other hand is typically set up in a rotisserie style meaning stats are aggregated on a season long basis. Equally weighted statistics throughout various categories, i.e. home runs, RBI, ERA, the team with the highest collective ranking throughout all statistic categories combined would be the winner in this format.
